In 2011 Rein Medical changed its name to Rein Medical GmbH and currently engages approx. 50 employees. Rein EDV GmbH was founded 1994, the HQ is in Willich, close to Düsseldorf. They are supported by two more offices in Spain and Switzerland. Initially focused on the distribution of displays and computer components as well as the manufacturing and distribution of BTO computer systems in 1997 also an own monitor brand EYE-Q was developed.

The change of the name was due to the strong MeDiSol department that was founded in the year 2000. It introduced the diagnostic displays of the Japanese manufacturer Totoku in Europe. The digitalization of the public health system also demands the development of new PC solutions.
The department significantly engaged in this by using the experiences of many years to develop own products such as VARIO, DUO or SILENIO under the brand VIEWMEDIC. These are panel PCs, viewing stations and display solutions for hygienic sensitive areas such as OR rooms and intensive care units.
Today Rein Medical provides a wide range of display and PC solutions for the different applications in the medical area and is responsible for the main part of the turnover. Rein Medical is your contact for computer hardware. The product range contains inter alia:

  • Diagnostic displays of the Japanese manufacturer TOTOKU with resolutions of up to 15 megapixel, uniformity correction, remote calibration, ISD technology and five years warranty for the i2 models,
  • Viewing and endoscopic displays of VIEWMEDIC,
  • Hygienic impeccable computer and display solutions of VIEWMEDIC for the application in sensitive areas such as OR rooms and intensive care units,
  • Accessory products like hygienic keyboards and mice as well as mountings, mobile computer solutions and graphic cards.

 

All VIEWMEDIC solutions are developed and manufactures by Rein Medical in Germany. Special focus is attached to the hygienic quality and the longevity of the products. For the demanded safety inspections Rein Medical entrusts external test laboratories and provides costumers the adequate documentation. Furthermore Rein Medical offers services around the products for example support of the project planning, acceptance and constancy tests, installation service, maintenance, training etc.
