2 MP medical monitor for diagnostic imaging
The TOTOKU CCL254i2 high brighness monitor incorporates a range of sensors which collect, analyze and stabilize luminance, eliminating backlight fluctuation. Additionally, the backlight rise time achieves DICOM calibrated luminance levels in under a minute. This new generation of luminance technology is called λ-Sentinel II®.
The CCL252i2 features an extraordinary luminance of up to 950cd/m2, exceptional 170° viewing angles, is DICOM compliant, and includes an integrated hardware pivot function for a quick switch from landscape to portrait without the use of third party pivot software.
The i2-models are equipped with an improved front sensor. Its accuracy opens up the opportunity of true remote calibration. The matching "PM-Medivisor" software is also available from TOTOKU.
It offers additional features, such as a continuous and automatic check of DICOM conformity. This check is performed in the background unnoticed by the user and the results are reported to the user or the network administrator. All measured values are displayed in a clearly arranged graphic diagram.

The i2-models feature a Uniformity Correction developed by TOTOKU. It involves subdividing the screen surface into multiple zones and performing extensive measurements on these zones. A combination of electronics and software is then used to adjust the brightness of the individual zones, much like in an equalizer, such that even minimal differences are eliminated in the process. This results in homogeneous luminance across the entire surface of the screen. The process can be repeated by the user at any time using the appropriate calibration software and a sensor.

The new TOTOKU i-Models have λ-Sentinel-II, an advanced automatic luminance control system that adjusts the luminance in perfection. The luminance sensor is places in front of the panel surface and stabilizes luminance by a permanent monitoring and sending feedback to the control circuit.
The calibration function creates the optimum conditions for a medical imaging display by adjusting luminance levels, color temperature, and grayscale characteristics to achieve DICOM GSDF compliant grayscale output.
A glance at the LED indicator tells you the display's current operating status in three distinct colors. When in normal mode (luminance is stabilized), the LED is not lighted to minimize negatively impacting the diagnostic interpretation.
TOTOKU monitors are completely certified according to the medical safety standards, which have more strictly demands than the safeties requirements for standard displays.
The pivot function allows for a 90-degree rotation of the LCD panel into portrait orientation.
