Latest generation of medical viewing stations
The new SILENIO covers high-quality workstations with one or more monitors, with an integrated computer system. It is the best solution for PACS and KIS in operating theatres.
The SILENIO is specially designed for medically sensitive areas such as operating theatres, intensive care stations and emergency rooms.
The new VIEWMEDIC SILENIO provides LCD monitors with a resolution up to 1920 x 1080 pixel (FullHD) and a powerful integrated PC system with Intel® Core® i5 or i7 technology in a new hygienic housing. The Core i5 technology appropriates enough power for nowadays and future requirements.
The SILENIO is also suited for surface- and flush-mounted installation.
Important for the hygiene
The VIEWMEDIC SILENIO cabinet is fanless constructed. It is easy to disinfect without worrying about damaging the device.
Furthermore, the fanless cabinet design prevents the transmission of dust and germs from the inside of the device into the environment.
Video controller
Fitting video interfaces for each task
The many applications used in the hospital routine deliver images via a wide variety of signal paths. The SILENIO provides a digital input (DVI-D) and an analogue input (VGA) for PC image sources, as well as extensive video inputs.
The extended videocontroller (available as an option) provides connection and loop options tailored to professional video applications, including a 3G/HD SDI interface (SMPTE 242M).

SILENIO as SINGLE and TWIN
SINGLE from 21 to 42 inches
Do you need a compact viewing station with one monitor? Then the SILENIO models with 21 to 42-inch monitors are for you. The SILENIO viewing station with a 42-inch monitor are ideal if content is to be presented on the largest possible surface.
TWIN 2 x 21 inches
If you select the TWIN model, you have a variety of additional options. For example, the independent display of different images and applications on each individual monitor.
The extended version of the video controller also offers the display and looping through of external image sources. It is also possible to equip the primary monitor with the extended video controller and the secondary monitor with a standard video controller.
PC
Powerful Computer module with Intel i5/i7 technology
The SILENIO provides high performance and security in its PC components. A powerful industry mainboard serves as the foundation.
In the standard configuration the mainboard is equipped with an Intel® Core™ i5-520M processor and can be upgraded to an Intel® Core™ i7-620M. The main memory is scalable up to to 8 GB.
The flexible configuration of the CPU, RAM, hard drive and other options allows you to equip the device to suit your precise requirements.
Optional MEDIGENIC keyboard – hygenic and comfortable
The MEDIGENIC keyboard and mouse are smart infection-control input divices that helps monitor its own cleaning status to safeguard both patient and staff. The MEDIGENIC™ keyboard’s flat design assures the usabilty of common office input devices.
The MEDIGENIC keyboard and mouse are ideal for any environment where bacterial contamination or cleanliness may be a concern.

Model Ergo
The VIEWMEDIC SILENIO is available in one height. The Ergo version with a height of 800 mm satisfies ergonomic aspects with it's distance between monitor and keyboard.
The SILENIO Ergo is also available as TWIN. The SILENIO TWIN systems have two independent monitors.

Features
IP65 protection
The device is fully protected according to IP65. This means that it is protected against the entry of dust, fluids and is also fully protected against accidental contact.
Hygienic coating
A specially developed, anti-microbial coating that is easy to clean ensures long-term protection and excellent hygiene properties.
Protective glass
A special optically anti-reflective glass protects the device panel and ensures IP65 compliant front-panel protection.
Fanless
No fan is used. This prevents dust and germs from being circulated.
Self-contained cooling system
Thanks to the special design, dust and germs are never exchanged. The temperature of the system is regulated by means of a self-contained cooling system.
DICOM preset - for improved perception
The VIEWMEDIC display come with a correction curve, which is stored as DICOM preset and can be activated via the menu. The image quality is thereby noticeably improved.
Multi-picture
The display is capable of PiP (picture in picture) and PoP (two images side by side). Images can be configured independently of one another (contrast, brightness, etc.)
Stabilised backlight
An integrated sensor continually measures brightness and readjusts it over time. This guarantees optimal image brightness at all times.
User memory
User profiles can be created and freely named. The user’s image settings and multi-picture configurations can be stored.
IEC standards
The product meets the IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 standards and has been certified as compliant by independent test laboratories.
KVM extender
The optionally integrable KVM extender allows lengthening (max. 100 m) the cable of all operating elements, for example, the mouse and the keyboard.
